The Girl Behind It All

I'm Allison, A College freshman at The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs) pretty much just starting the journey of finding myself, my passions, and my place. I am a short, blonde with too much energy for my own good and a big heart. I love adventure and inspiration! I also love people and creating relationships because everyone is so unique and amazing. I have a love for shopping especially discount shopping and creating outfits that reflect my personality. I love getting to express my thoughts, emotions, and creativity through outfits and through blogging.

The Story 

I discovered the world of blogging over three years ago. I am definitely the kind of person who gets into something and gets obsessed. For years I watched blogs be my go to for inspiration, style, and happy place. I truly loved getting a peak into others minds and lives.

I decided to start a blog my Junior year of high school, and I named it A Little Bit. It was just the beginnings of an idea and a a long process. It was rough, but it was a great starting point for me. Since then I've grown a lot and really realized that I wanted to make blogging a bigger part of my life. Dearly Beautiful has become my new project and creative notebook. Be ready for anything I throw your way.

The Support

To be totally honest, I am very nervous about telling people about my blog. I am not the most confident person and have put a lot of worth in what other people think (not very healthy)! My journey just started a couple of months ago, so it's just the beginning, but I know It will get better.

My biggest support would be my family! They love me for who I am, and have always given me my space to be creative and be myself. I am one of three girls, so there were many dress up parties when I was little. I have a twins sister with Down syndrome who is my heart and soul. She is the strongest, sweetest, and smartest people I am blessed to have in my life. She is such a big part of who I am and over me so much more than I deserve. 

My friends have been amazing supporters too! Shoutout to Ellie, Anne Arden, Annie, Sydney, Maisy and Anne Marie! I randomly mentioned that I wanted to start a blog and it has only been support from there. Plus Ellie has been the best photographer along with my boyfriend Russell, and Anne Arden is the most perfect person to be running the twitter!
